CDC: HIV Tests Without Permission

The goals of the revisions, the agency said, is to encourage early detection of HIV infection and make HIV testing routine for patients 13 to 64 years old. Shares of OraSure Technologies (nasdaq: OSUR - news - people ) surged on the news, up more than 20% in afternoon trading Thursday.
