These distortions, combined with intelligence failures, exaggerated the risks posed by a country that presented no immediate threat to the US, Middle East or global security, the report says.

The study from the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace concludes that, though the long-term threat from Iraq could not be ignored, it was being effectively contained by a combination of UN weapons inspections, international sanctions and limited US-led military action.

When you start seeing the US planes and choppers getting shot down almost daily, I don\'t think it will be very long before the American public starts calling for a withdrawl of their sons and daughters.

It\'s becoming a slaughter over there. Nine more died today, and a huge aircraft was damaged by ground fire or so, but it managed to land safely.

I think it\'s just a matter of time.

Dennis Kucinich has the best idea:

Cancel all US contracts, call in contracts through the UN, and let the UN rotate troops in as the US leaves. That could be done in a couple of months.

    I hope it happens.

Talk about conspiracies and lies from the powers that wage war, I just received an email with a picture of military in uniform(U.S.)the members standing in a formation to spell out the words \'WE REMEMBER 911\' with this caption

    \'Message from Iraq

The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do something to pay tribute To our fallen comrades. So since we are part of the only Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq the one way that we could think of doing that is by taking a picture of Baker Company saying the way we feel. It would be awesome if you could find a way to share this with our fellow countrymen.
I was wondering if there was any way to get this into your papers to let the world know that \"WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN\" and are proud to serve our country.\" Semper Fi

Obviously the media and administration has done a great job convincing even their military that Iraq had something to do with 911! Sad very sad.

If you tell people the same thing over and over again, they will begin to believe it.

    It\'s called brainwashing.
