Ghomeshi goes on the road with a campaign that reflects the sentiments of young Canadians across the country. According to Elections Canada, barely 25 per cent of Canadians between 18 and 24 years old voted in the 2000 federal election.

What I think was important with this show is the title of the show. "screw the vote" I think will attract youth to watch and give the show a chance. If it said "rock the vote" or "rush the vote" the show would repel youth away cause most youth today are fed up of the do this, you must do this and do that.
The cbcwatch obviously didn't see the show before they put up their analysis of the show up on their poor excuse for a website. They were way off on how they described this show and what it meant. They make it seem like it was a liberal promoting kind of show. Yet in my opinion I find Jian more of a NDP then a Liberal. Even when I watch his show "play" he seems to be a NDP. So how some think that CBC is only to promote liberal is not true.
The cbcwatch people seem to be scared of anything that means more people voting. I think right wing people are afraid of more youth voting. Its obvious the youth are gonna be attracted to left leaning parties. Right wing politicians have no power in a world where youth vote.

they appear to bee seeking an end to the narrow left opinions that predominate the cbc (apparently ones that you personally promote and agree with). it represents a "diversity" of voices with which you obviously disagree.
"youth" is something you created as an issue. "Its obvious the youth are gonna be attracted to left leaning parties" where do you confirm the obviousness of this?
NDP and left-Liberal are both on the same side of spectrum, both are small 'l' - liberal.
"So how some think that CBC is only to promote liberal is not true."
The average CBC employee is far more likely to vote NDP than the average canadian. You and the facts undermine your own argument.
"MAYBE" your right. And I stress "maybe".
It was actually from many new conservative members that I've talked to in a pc youth discussion group who said that the CBC had a liberal slant.
Take Care,
