Canada Now Stands Against the World
Date: Saturday, November 18 2006
In a gutless move, Canada abstained from joining 156 other countries to demand a full UN investigation into the Isreali shelling of Beit Hanun.
We stand with such countries as the United States, Israel, Australia, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru and Palau, Ivory Coast, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu who either abstained or voted against the resolution.
Will we now have to start removing our Maple Leafs from our backpacks when we travel?
