February Election?
Date: Thursday, November 10 2005
Topic:

Yesterday the NDP came out with a "common sense solution" to all of the posturing and uncertainty over the upcoming federal election. It would put an election date in February, meaning a Janurary election call and campaign. So far, the other opposition parties seem interested in getting on board. Speaking as a proudly biased candidate, I say this is a great idea! Who wants to campaign over Christmas, and who wants to give the Libs time to announce a bunch of pre-election spending to buy off voters? Now we just have to see if the Libs will pay attention or not.
