Leader of the Official Opposition
Parliament Bldg.
Ottawa, Canada

Dear Sir:

Re: David Emerson

Given that the people of Vancouver Kingsway elected David Emerson as a Liberal, and that throughout the previous election he represented himself to the citizens of Vancouver-Kingsway as a Candidate for the Liberal Party of Canada, and that even before Parliament is called into session he has crossed the floor and is now a member of Cabinet within the Conservative minority government, will:

The Liberal Party of Canada co-operate with the other two parties, the Bloq and the NDP, to offer a motion to the House of Commons that Mr. David Emerson be denied membership in the House based on his conduct; and,

Furthermore, in co-operation with the Bloq and the NDP propose a motion that should any member cross the floor they must resign their seat and again seek the consent of the constituents in their riding.

I look forward to your considered reply to this vital matter.

Yours truly,

Peter Dimitrov
