Date: Friday, February 03 2006

Is it possible there could be another "terrorist event" at this years Superbowl? Or is this simply another example of the further integration of U.S.-Canada military policy? At any rate, the author connects some interesting dots about the events of 9/11 and Canadas role in them.

Itís curious in some corners that Canada is sponsoring the same NORAD war-gaming team to test America's defences against hijacker attacks on Super Bowl XL (scheduled for February 5, 2006), as the team that Canada used to test U.S. defences against the hijacker attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon of September 11, 2001.

Itís even more curious given that the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Bush White House rejected a Canadian-sponsored scenario for a hijacked aircraft to target the Pentagon during the "Positive Force" war game of April 2001.

Apparently, Bush's advisors felt that Canada's proposal to test the Pentagon's ability to respond to an attack and force it to reassign disabled functions in order to prevent an attempted coup d'etat, was just "too unrealistic".

How presumptuous of Republican America, how prescient of Liberal Canada.

The Bush White House must not have paid much attention to Canada's sponsorship of the "Everybody Participates - Amalgam Virgo" war game of June 1-2, 2001.
