[Another riding that the NDP can win (In Surrey). I know in my riding it looks great for the NDP. The NDP in this riding provincially have won for as long as I can remember. Federally the upset Liberal voters are voting NDP this time around, not conservative like some people are doing in other ridings.--Kevin]

Surrey North incumbent Chuck Cadman, riding a wave of personal popularity, appears set to be easily re-elected despite losing the Conservative nomination and running as an independent, according to a poll commissioned by CanWest publications and Global television.



Forty per cent of those polled in Surrey North said they will vote for the anti-crime crusader. New Democrat Jim Karpof trailed at 26 per cent.
