Witht hem proposing a berlin type wall along the mexican border and another one for Canada ( where can I volenteer to help build it), they are moving further away from that proposal.<br /> If Canadians had voted in the last US election the republicans would have finished third in every state but right wing Alberta. The last thing republicans would allow is the adding of millions of left leaning Canadians to their voters lists. They would prefer to support the election of US policy puppets like Harper and "Deep integration" Martin to give them trade deals which give them total control over our resources, without giving Canadians a voice .Take over would mean a Canadian version of the IRA of the 70's all along their northern border , an enemy that they have trouble distinguishing from their own people ,and giving us the right to bear arms.<br /> Ghengis Kahn and Atilla the Hun had no problem conquering Europe. Administering it and occupying it were a totally different matter, which had them heading for home a few short years after.<br /> The US is re-learning this lessson of history in Iraq at the moment.<br /> Brent
