Sure, any kind of weaponization is unpalatable. But unfortunately, in this world, self defense is necessary. I wouldn`t leave myself totally vulnerable, and just rely on my next door neighbour to defend me, because in a situation like that, where greed is king of our world, my next door neighbour would slowly morph from 'best friend' or 'big brother' into sugar daddy, or outright worst enemy.
