I have talked to Inuit and Inui and they talk about volatile weather flip flops and planes that spray pollution clouds into the sky. Planes that were not there 10 years ago and which crisscross their skies for no understandable economic reason.

The problem in Port Hardy is thought to be caused by rain mixed with logging and poor forestry practices. The rain is not being retained in the ground as it was in the past. Clear cutting and massive pesticide spraying operations have decimated the living web which kept the balance.

Did hurricane Katrina cause levees not to be maintained?

If the temperature was increasing then evaporation of water would be increasing. Drought would not be happening. Global carbon release follows temperature increase, with an approximently 800 year lag.

Carbon capture is a totally irrelevant money grab scheme being foisted on us by greedy parasitic banksters and their corporate, governmental and scientific lackeys. We need to deal with pollution in all its forms and that means disposing of all those currently controlling our activities on this planet. They have shown themselves to be incapable of doing anything other than looking out for their own short term interests while ruining the rest of humanities, (99.999% of the populations), future. IMO

The clear cuts were done years ago. No problems till this year. Ditto Kingcome .
Weather records are continually being set at ever increasing rates. That has nothing to do with clearcuts, except is effect on climate change. Ditto the melting of arctic ice, glaciers, and the moving of the tree line further north.
Why are the oil, gas and coal companies spending so much on buying off so called "Scientists" to propagate the myth of Climate change not being a problem?
Corporate values are, by law , short term profits , only. It is illegal for them to act in any other way.

Climate change and global warming are the same thing. It results in wild weather fluctuations, with an underlying warming as the cause.

The violent weather changes, the receding glaciers and arctic ice, droughts , floods , hurricanes, tree line and animals moving further north, etc, are all straight forward. Its the deniers, who's self delusions, paid for by the oil gas and coal companies, which are anything but straight forward.
I just talked to another Coast guard guy, who said the ice is extremely far north in summer, and getting harder to find.
