One example:
Bell Helicopters was on the verge of bankruptcy - until Johnson ramped up the Vietnam War. That war saw the loss of 3,000 helicopters at a million dollars a pop - and Bell became quite profitable. How much of that do your think, went to the Vets who survived Vietnam?

So, President Johnson said "Lets feed some kids to a meat grinder, and pull Bell out of trouble!". Yea. Uh huhh. Remember, the foil you get at the grocery store is made of Aluminum, not Tin. It doesn't keep the mind rays out.

You did notice the word 'Canada' plastered about, right?

"A splendid little war" You can bet Mr. Hay did not partake of it himself.
If you want Canada, just look up the whole Northwest rebellion..........

Do you have anything to support your opinion? No, but I had hopes this time you would.

Now who in your world would utter "Splendid little war?" Dr. C.

As for Northwest Rebellion, it was Ottawa that started the fracas, when all the Metis wanted was a negotiation to determine rights. But Ottawa wanted them dead or removed.
