It seems obvious that it's far easier and cheaper, given present plastic pipe technology ,to simply run an intake water pipeline upstream, miles above any rise in tide , than it is to move an entire town.<br /> Brent

Someone suggested to me that the victims of the Scottish Highland clearances have legitimate land claims, than could be taken to the International court by their descendants. Ditto with Irish victims of Cromwell.
I sure hope they do, and put a damper in the activities of land thieves in the future, who assume they will never face consequences for their actions. The legal precedent will help all people who have beeen vitimized by them. Perhaps they could unite their efforts around the world to some degree.

Umm, a couple of questions for ya. For one, is there a link or some kind of news refrence for this?

Two, I'm not sure what you're refering to when you're talking about running pipeline upstream or when you're refering to moving the town. Can you give a little more info.

Three, you don't need to put your name bellow your posts. For a while there I thought you were talking to yourself.
