I already got them, and my links are still open.

It's not illegal It has legal uses too! Plus, I'd pay for BBC 2 if I could. Perhaps if they release a DVD of these, I'll buy it.
jk of course...does that mean I am free to paste links to films of interest available via bit torrent? Or is this an exception because it is currently unavailable?

I don't know.

I don't think it opens Vive to any liability, because these are just links to text files. They contain no copywritten material.

I'd say not to, until Jesse chimes in. If it's a problem, then I'd say just post links to Torrent sites, and name the film.
bittorrent itself is perfectly legal, and is being used for many legitimate purposes by many companies.

That said, vive isn't even hosting the torrent files. providing links is no more illegal than telling someone where to buy a gun. What the do with the information is not our responsibility.

Of course, the content linked is probably copyrighted. Which may make it illegal to download, depending on local laws.

I'm not much of a lawyer ethier, but I recall the Supreme Court of Canada ruled it wasn't illegal to 'pirate' US satellite channels because those signals were available in Canada, but were not available for sale. Therefore there was no loss of income, and no theft had ocurred.

I feel it is the same for things like this. I cannot pay for BBC 2, and therefore they have not lost any money. Also, all copyright notices in the program are intact. If it's a movie I can go see in a theater or rent down at Rogers, I will.
The only American Online paper review I could find.

Just saw part one.
Fluff. In Part one, I could totally understand how Satr could see lawn care as a sign of moral depravity. I don't understand it, but I can see how he would. I can totally see how the online observer could discount it as poor journalism, being very heavy on the right as they are.

What did you think of the background information in part 1? 'Fluff' or 'history'?

Absolutely history.

Honestly, most of these 'leftist' docs only interview the same old suspects and for that they are usually criticized. Where is the 'right', people ask? This film, for once, actually has some nonEnglish speaking people in it, to give it another perspective. Unlike Michael Moore, the filmaker in this doc doesn't try to dumb down the facts and make it a 10 Million dollar grossing blockbuster.

Fluff, well if it is, they did a good job.

Then again this could be another 'Spaghetti Tree', but I doubt it would air on the BBC if that was the case.

Time for pt2.
