[QUOTE BY= dbaker] I was working for Mr Don Amodeo in Winnipeg doing terminations and turnarounds for Royal Airlines Boeing 727 Aircraft.
It was the last flight of the seasonal charter service south. Royal had been having problems with some of the previous 737 flights, and requested an AME go along for the ride.
The flight south was only crew, no passengers. Enroute the Pilots changed destinations from Jamaica to Cuba, due to flying time regulations and a new flight crew was to meet us in Cuba.
After several hours the new crew arrived and we departed from Cuba with some passengers, arriving in Jamaica to pick up the remaining passengers.
The Pilots realized they had to much weight on board to take off with sufficient fuel to reach Winnipeg, so we diverted to Hamilton.
Somewhere over the US about 2 or 3 hours out of Hamilton, the stewardess opened the cockpit door stating there was a large male passenger freaking out at the cockpit door, wanting in.
The two pilots and the flight engineer turned to look at the stewardess, and the very real fear showed on all there faces.
I immediatly informed the crew that " I'll take care of this".
Please note I had been working 8 hours prior to the departure flight and need sleep, shower and a shave, and a cigarette. I was in mood too play, and probably resembeled Jack Nickleson from the shining.
I opened the cockpit door and asked a fairly large man, whom was obviousy distraught and losin it, "Just what the f--k do you want?"
The guy's attitude dissipated rather quickly when I was in his face, reality was buddy was not getting past me, and he knew it! He asked "when we going to land?"
I responded" When we get there, now get the f--k back in your seat.
He went back to his seat without further incident.
The Flight Crew was relieved, although I still wanted a cigarette.
