Most of America is getting along much better now that they have given the US the finger.Especialy the 75 percent of South America that have recently elected left wing governments.<br /> Immigration gives the US economy a huge number of virtual slave labourers with abslutely no protectioin from the law, without which they would take a huge economic hit in the pocket book.They can only push them so far away from any legal protection , before they shoot themselves in the foot, economically.<br /> Brent

They may not get hurt as much as the U.S. is in reality quite protectionist, but still the U.S. has deindustrialized compared to what it used to be.
