A draft report is to be submitted to the three heads of state at a partnership summit in Alberta in August.

"It's no secret that the U.S. is going to need water," said project director Armand Peschard-Sverdrup.

"It's no secret that Canada is going to have an overabundance of water. At the end of the day, there may have to be arrangements."

The project is spearheaded by the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, a powerful Washington think tank, in partnership with the Conference Board of Canada, a not-for-profit group that studies economic trends, and CIDE, a Mexican policy institute.

Tom d'Aquino was interviewed on CBC radio a few weeks ago and he denied that any talks are going on on integration and ridiculed the CoC, again denying any talks, plans, or discussions on water exports.

But then, this is what a "competitive environment" is about: Lies and deceit to beat the others.

from the article: "The reality the Americans perhaps don't fully appreciate is that
we don't have a whole lot of water to export," Hodgson said. "There are near-
scarcity conditions in western Canada, and a lot of water is being used to extract
bitumen from the oil sands."

We could recyle and bottle that water and export it to Texas. I'm sure they'd
find it perfect for "Texas tea"!

Good post Dr Caleb.

There is another factor in play here, geo-engineering aka chemspray. There are massive sprays going on in the northern Alberta skies on a 24/7 basis. Yesterday we started off the day in the Fort McMurray area with clear blue skies, ( or what passes for clear blue skies thereabouts ), then the chemspray trails started to drift in, they don't seem to spray directly over population centers anymore, instead they spray over the unpopulated country side ,(or out in the sticks as we say), as I observed on the ride home to Edmonton last night.

Last year I observed, (on more than one occasion), what would have been,(prior to 2006),an electrical rainstorm approaching (massive thunderheads and dirty black clouds).
When the storm got to us the clouds had been punched full of holes, I had never observed this phenomena before in over a half a century of shy gazing. It was an ugly site to behold, next to no rain fell and through the holes in the clouds and above the tops of the thunderheads you could see the non descript blurry chemspray overlaying the sky from horizon to horizon like cotton.

Over and over I have seen this pattern recurring. What I am suggeating is that the global drought is being manufactured so that water can be turned into a rare commodity and sold for as high a price as possible.

FYI, in Alberta the oil companies are allowed to pump fresh water into oil wells to float more oil out of them, they do not have to re-use this polluted water, instead they are allowed to continuously turn fresh water into toxic crap.

I'm pleased to see the water issue introduced
As I understand it oil out water in/
how does this and the use of water in the manufacture od computer chip talley against the shinking water supply?

""It's no secret that Canada is going to have an overabundance of water. At the end of the day, there may have to be arrangements.""

That last sentence sounds a bit like a threat to me.

Good thing for you that your lapdog Harper is the PM and not me.

All Canadian military would be recalled 15 minutes after I read that, and all US forces in Canada would sent home.

I'd be massively upgrading our military and pointing them south just in case you decided to get any stupid ideas concerning enforcing your "arrangements".

I'd also have an all-Canadian "Force de frappe" put into place.

Your troops set on foot into Canada and you guys are a glow in the dark parking lot in 3 minutes.

On second thought, turning you guys into a glow in the dark parking lot isn't such a good idea.

But then again, invading friendly nations isn't either.

Sorry about my outburst.

Right before I read the article, I was trying to get my cat to take it's meds.

Little buggar nailed me good.

When I wrote what I wrote, I was a bit pissed.

Mods, please feel free to remove what I wrote.

Thanx

If the US would decide to invade Canada, the present military leadership would send out brass bands to welcome them, dreaming of US uniforms and weapons.

As it happened in Austria in 1938, and after WW2 in both West and East Germany, with the new armies led by former Wehrmacht officers, facing each other.
