Monsanto plans to unleash its latest Frankenfood experiment on the American and Canadian public

Monsanto's GMO perversion of food

In the 2010 growing season Monsanto plans to unleash its latest Frankenfood experiment on the American and Canadian public, a new version of genetically mutated corn with eight abnormal gene traits called Genuity SmartStax corn. It is the culmination of an astonishing scandal that has been steadily building over the past decade. During this time Monsanto's mutated seeds have grown to 90% of the U.S. soy crop and 85% of the corn crop  --  and wheat is  next  on their agenda. Their efforts have been marked by corporate bullying and have drawn the attention of the Justice Department who is conducting an antitrust investigation. All the while they have been spending millions on lobbying to fast track their agenda before the American public even realizes what hit them. Monsanto is making an ominous power play to corner the worldwide market on food and seeds. In the process they are adversely altering the very nature of food itself.

The link at the bottom of this post is to the official leaflet for their H1N1 Vaccine that is available in Canada.
This is public information but I doubt many read it.  Please take the time to do so and encourage others as well.

Plaintiff alleges the following in support of her claim for declaratory and injunctive relief and damages:...

8.         There presently exists a bank-based transnational corporate criminal conspiracy to violate the fundamental constitutional rights and wellbeing of the American people, including those of the plaintiff, through fraudulent political, legal and financial contracts in the form of surreptitiously signed/enacted international treaties and federal laws/executive orders enabling the mandated imposition of bioweaponized H1N1 influenza vaccinations and quarantines/detentions through martial law.  The aforementioned measures, being fraudulent, are therefore null and void, with no legitimate power to be enforced by any government, national or international, upon the American people.

Health Care and Social Policy The Triumph Of Ideology Over Common Sense
Contributed by robertjb on Friday, September 18 at 13:55 (1,377 reads)

Bill Moyers asks the right question. David Frum gives the wrong answer.

Every one of us would like to claim possessing common sense; sound judgment based on practical experience. Where it is absent there can be many reasons; the most obvious being a lack of experience, most often associated with the young.
Is it then possible that well educated, articulate, older and very well informed commentators, can be totally lacking in common sense?

Sturgeon also announced a ban on hospitals contracting out cleaning or catering work to the private sector, a demand of trade unions and nursing bodies, who have blamed sloppy contractors for poor hygiene control.

Health Care and Social Policy Scientific Technique And Human Reproduction
Contributed by KDR on Wednesday, August 06 at 15:10 (3,545 reads)

"While it is rather rash to make detailed prophecies, it is, I think, fairly clear that in future a human body, from the moment of conception, will not be regarded merely as something which must be left to grow in accordance with natural forces, with no human interference beyond what is required for the preservation of health. The tendency of scientific technique is to cause everything to be regarded as not just a brute datum, but raw material for the carrying out of some human purpose. The child, and even the embryo, will come to be viewed more and more in this way as the mentality connected with scientific technique becomes more dominant. In this, as in all other forms of scientific power, there are possibilities of good and possibilities of evil. Science alone will not decide which is to prevail." - Bertrand Russell, 1931

Health Care and Social Policy Naturopaths Fear Proposed Bill C-51
Contributed by akston on Wednesday, May 21 at 13:35 (3,503 reads)
Noor Javed, The Toronto Star

C-51 may restrict access to natural health products by lumping them in with pharmaceuticals, they say

Every week, Daniel Chiang, a nutritionist and clinic owner at the Inspired Life Health Centre on Danforth Ave., treats more than a dozen patients, offering them “alternative medicine options” to help heal ailments ranging from the flu to digestive problems.

Sometimes, he suggests home remedies; other times it may be a nutritional supplement. He has always been able to recommend or suggest as he chooses. But now he worries this could change with Bill C-51, legislation – making its way through Parliament – that will modernize the Food and Drugs Act for the first time in over 50 years.
